1. Personal Information Collection & Handling (PII)

To review applications and manage lab membership, we collect and process the following Personal Identifiable Information (PII):

• GitHub Profile & Handles: Used as identification, verification of developer contributions, and to sync live commit beat metrics.
• Contact Coordinates (WhatsApp/Phone and verified Telegram link): WhatsApp is used for waitlist review follow-up. Telegram is linked only through Dr Rick's verified connection flow after acceptance, so nobody can claim another chat ID.
• Date of Birth: Used to confirm age eligibility for event entries and lab membership.
• Location Details (City/Country): Used to coordinate regional builder meetups and map the developer registry.
• Email Address: Used for account creation, critical alerts (e.g. deletion notices), and general correspondence.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data is solely used to verify your builder profile, evaluate your application to KrackedDevs Labs, enable our interactive Telegram check-in bot (@dr_rickbot) features, and show your public projects in the lab. We have a strict zero-spam policy. We do not sell, lease, or distribute your private information to third-party advertisers.

3. Public Sanitization & Data Protection

We implement public data minimization. All public routes, honeycomb visualizations, and API outputs (including `/data/builders.json`) are programmatically sanitized to strip out sensitive data (emails, exact Telegram Chat IDs, and phone numbers). Private builder variables are stored securely and only accessible to authorized developers/administrators.

4. @dr_rickbot & Automation Consent

By linking your Telegram account, you consent to receive automated ship reminders and check-in prompt messages from our Telegram bot (@dr_rickbot). You can modify your reminder hours in your personal dashboard or unlink your account at any time to halt these messages.

5. Builder Responsibilities

As a participant of KrackedDevs Labs, you agree to:

• Provide accurate identification information (e.g. your own GitHub profile).
• Ensure your linked GitHub repositories do not contain malicious scripts, spam, or copyright violations.
• Comply with standard developer community safety and respect rules.

6. Account Deletion & Rights

You maintain full rights over your personal data. You can request to delete your builder record, erase all stored ledger history, or download your details by sending a request to the lab administrators. Your hex will be unlinked and removed from the active honeycomb hive upon deletion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")

KrackedDevs Labs, the online portal, public directories, database ledger, and bot integrations are provided "as-is" and "as-available". We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to statements concerning continuous uptime, lack of database errors, correct sync of commit metrics, or Telegram bot delivery.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KrackedDevs Labs, its founders, operators, and community organizers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of code, repository sync failures, system downtime, data leaks, or costs of procurement of substitute services) arising out of or related to your participation or membership in the lab.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KrackedDevs Labs and its organizers against any claims, summonses, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your submissions, your linked repositories or projects, your violation of community guidelines, or your breach of these Terms.

10. No Employment or Agency Relationship

Participation as a "Builder" or "Lab Member" is entirely voluntary and is not intended to, and does not, create any employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or contractor relationship between you and KrackedDevs Labs. You are not authorized to act on behalf of, bind, or represent KrackedDevs.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
